I qualified from King's College Hospital London in 1982. Although not a Yorkshireman by birth I am the proud father of two Yorkshiremen. I can carry out a full range of dental treatments in practice. I also hold a part-time position at Harrogate hospital in the orthodontic department. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, fly-fishing and spending as much time as I can with my family.

Dr Michael Santangeli

Michael graduated from Liverpool Dental School with honours and distinctions in all subjects. At graduation he was awarded with multiple academic prizes including the Malcom Foster Medal, a prestigious award given to the student with the highest overall finals grade. To demonstrate continual professional development, following graduation Michael obtained a diploma of membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. During his career he has worked a variety of jobs across Yorkshire including general practice and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery hospital post. Michael is trained in Invisalign teeth straightening and has attended further training in other topics and strives to provide high standards of general dentistry. Michael has a calm chair side manner and tries his best to make his patients feel calm, relaxed and well informed during their dental visits. Away from work he enjoys running and spending time with his Wife Annie and miniature sausage dog Noah.

Dr Harmandeep Talta

Harmandeep graduated with honours from Cardiff University in 2018. During recruitment for foundation training, he managed to rank in the top 1.5% nationally amongst all dentists graduating that year. Since graduation Harmandeep has continued to further his education and expand his skill set by attending various courses. He is now trained to straighten teeth with the Invisalign and C-fast systems. Furthermore he has gained accreditation from the Mini Smile Makeover course which focuses on improving smiles using a more minimally invasive approach. This largely comprises of whitening and composite bonding. Harmandeep enjoys treating all patients but has a soft spot for children. In his free time, Harmandeep enjoys exploring new countries, spending time with family and socialising with friends.

My name is Marius and I qualified as a dentist in 2012 in the capital of my home country, Bucharest . I first started working in England in 2015 providing general dentistry in the South East region. I previously completed the general restorative course with Tipton Training and more recently started to pursue my passion for Endodontics after completing the simply Endo course. For the future I would like to become a dentist with special interest in root canal therapy to be able to provide my patients with the best treatment and care to attempt and save natural teeth. In my spare time I do enjoy travelling and cooking. I am a big sports fan of football and Formula1 and I support Leeds United /Chelsea team and Red Bull Racing.

Stan qualified from Dental School of Athens (Greece) in 2001 and has been working in general practice since then, both in Greece and in the UK. After moving to Yorkshire in 2014, he completed a one-year postgraduate course in Implant Dentistry in Leeds and joined Starbeck Dental Centre in September 2022. He is passionate about helping patients feel at ease and working with them towards having a well-functioning, attractive dentition. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but his area of expertise is Implant Dentistry and Minor Oral Surgery. He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and also provides mentorship to colleagues in their first steps in Implant Dentistry. Aside from dentistry, his other passion is music, as he sings, plays and teaches it. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Silvia and their two energetic children as well as walking, watching films and reading.

Lucinda qualified as a Biomedical scientist in 2008, a Dental Nurse in 2014 and I completed my Dental Hygiene and Therapy course in 2016 from Leeds University. I am currently completing a graduate diploma in a specialised area of medical care. I provide friendly, compassionate and most importantly, gentle gum treatments and preventative care. I have taken part in volunteer dental work in Accra, Ghana in 2014. In my spare time I enjoy walking my cocker spaniel, snowboarding and yoga.

Katie Roylance

Katie qualified from Leeds Dental Institute and has almost 30 years' experience as a dental hygienist, during which time she has always worked in Harrogate. She has also spent time in Wakefield and Leeds Community Dental Clinic working with a wide range of patients with additional needs. Katie still loves her job and is enjoying being part of the Starbeck family. Away from work she enjoys spending time with family and friends and doing all things crafty.
